The SMC–Community & Employees Multi‑Purpose Cooperative, based in Mandaue City, Cebu, is a member‑owned organization dedicated to improving the economic and social well‑being of its members through sustainable financial and community services. In August 2007, GLB completed a successful IPO and was listed on the NYSE under the symbol ‘G.’ From 2007-2010, GLB became increasingly international.
