SMC Community and Employees Multipurpose Cooperative supported the opening of Mandaue City’s Bamboo Month Celebration in September 2024, joining the local government’s efforts to promote environmental awareness and sustainable livelihoods.

The celebration highlighted bamboo’s role in conservation and community development. It brought together local organizations, environmental stakeholders, and community members to learn about its benefits and encourage sustainable practices.

Through its participation, SMC CEMPC strengthened its support for community initiatives that care for the environment and build partnerships within Mandaue City.
